This work was made to resemble common work zone signage - ‘Works Ahead, ‘Works Access’, ‘Caution’ etc. By informing passers-by of ongoing development in the vicinity, these signage serve to forewarn of hazards ahead. Having the word ‘progress’ within such a recognisable motif, the work practically becomes a caution of its namesake.
